MFL Teacher (French KS5 & Spanish KS4)

Principal Education is working in partnership with a high-performing secondary school in East London to recruit a passionate and committed Modern Foreign Languages Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to teach French to KS5 and Spanish to KS4 within a supportive, ambitious department.
This role is open to ECTs and experienced teachers, with excellent professional development and progression opportunities available.
The Role
You will:
Teach French up to KS5 and Spanish up to KS4
Deliver engaging, well-planned lessons that inspire a love of languages
Support students to achieve strong academic outcomes
Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking MFL department
Take part in whole-school development and enrichment activities
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
Holds QTS (or is on track to achieve it by September 2026)
Has strong subject knowledge in French and Spanish
Is passionate about language learning and student success
Is reflective, organised, and eager to develop professionally
Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
