A highly reputable Children’s Hospital School in London is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to support children and young people aged 0 to 25 with complex needs.

This is a unique opportunity for a Special Needs Teaching Assistant looking to gain outstanding experience within a specialist setting. The role is ideal for candidates aspiring to progress into Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, SEN Teaching, Speech and Language Therapy, or Occupational Therapy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with complex needs

• Support children in accessing education within a hospital-based setting

• Provide calm, consistent and proactive support

Requirements:

• Experience as a Special Needs Teaching Assistant or supporting children with SEN

• Ability to support pupils with complex needs in a sensitive environment

• Patient, nurturing and resilient approach

• Strong communication and teamwork skills
