- Deliver high-quality, individualised educational programmes to students with complex needs, ensuring engagement and progress.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to meet the educational, behavioural, and developmental needs of all pupils.
- Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive, multi-disciplinary approach to learning.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual learning styles.
- Create a safe, nurturing learning environment that promotes dignity, respect, and inclusion.
- Engage in continuous professional development to maintain knowledge of current best practices in special education.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching children with complex needs.
- Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A commitment to the holistic development of pupils and to fostering positive relationships with parents and carers.
