Unqualified pay range: £110 to £168 per day.
Qualified pay range: up to £261 per day depending on experience and school.

- Covering North Cambridgeshire, South Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Rutland

As a Supply Teacher, your role can be varied and may include any of the following (we tailor around your requirements):
- Fulfil the duties of a Teacher as set out by the School Teachers Pay and Conditions of Employment (including planning, preparing and delivering lessons, marking and assessing pupil attainment). If you prefer no planning, ask about Cover Supervising.
- Establish a purposeful learning environment.
- Teach structured lessons or sequences of work that interest and motivate children.
- Ensure learning objectives are clearly shared with pupils and set appropriately challenging goals for whole class, groups or individuals.
- Use a variety of teaching and learning strategies.
- Be responsible for safeguarding and wellbeing of children by following our policy and school policy on behaviour management, safeguarding and health and safety.
- Mark and assess pupils’ work using the school’s monitoring and assessment policies.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment ensuring smooth classroom run.
- Manage pupils and their commitment to learning with minimal disruption.
- Ideally have your own transport to reach a variety of schools.
- QTS / Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or existing school experience.
- Good classroom control and behaviour management techniques.
- Enthusiasm and commitment.
- IT literate.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Two professional references.
