Location: Greater London
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to students with diverse and complex needs
Assist in delivering personalised learning programmes under the guidance of the class teacher
Support students with emotional regulation, communication, and social development
Use a range of communication methods (e.g., PECS, visual supports, sensory strategies)
Help create a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and support staff
Contribute to behaviour support plans and individual learning plans
About You
We are looking for someone who brings patience, resilience, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting young people with additional needs. You must have:
Experience working with SEN, ideally including SEMH, ASD, or non‑verbal learners
A calm, consistent, and empathetic approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A willingness to learn and adapt to specialist strategies
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
