A forward-thinking Lambeth primary school near Brixton is seeking an experienced SEN Learning Mentor to work across KS2, supporting pupils with SEMH needs who require help with emotional regulation, engagement, and behaviour for learning. As a SEN Learning Mentor, you will provide targeted 1:1 and small-group support, implement behaviour strategies, and work closely with the SENCo and pastoral team. The school has a clear behaviour framework and values staff who can build strong, consistent relationships with pupils.

• Has experience supporting pupils with SEMH or behavioural needs
• Can remain calm, consistent, and solution-focused
• Is confident delivering mentoring sessions and emotional check-ins
• Works well alongside teachers and support staff

Experience in primary school settings is required.

• A strong pastoral team and clear systems
• Regular training in SEMH and behaviour support
• A supportive leadership team that values staff wellbeing
• A purposeful role with real impact on pupil progress
