We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team, working full-time. This role is based in Croydon, London, and offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant impact in the lives of students requiring specialised educational support.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Provide tailored support to students with profound and multiple learning difficulties.
• Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals to foster a supportive and effective learning environment.
• Utilise adaptive equipment and technology to enhance student learning and participation.
• Monitor and support the wellbeing and educational progress of students.
• Engage with students through one-on-one sessions and group activities, adapting approaches to meet individual needs.

Required Skills &

Qualifications:

• Experience working with SEN students or in a similar role within SEN settings.
• Patience, resilience, and a compassionate approach to student interaction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with staff and engage with students.
