About the School

About the RoleThis role is ideal for a graduate who is passionate about inclusive education, child development, or educational psychology. You will work closely with the SENCo, class teachers, and external professionals to support pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language needs, and SEMH.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with SEND
- Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions
- Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
- Adapt classroom resources to meet individual learning needs
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external agencies
- Monitor progress and contribute to review meetings
Essential:
- A recent undergraduate degree
- Empathy, patience, and resilience
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to inclusive education
Desirable:
- Experience supporting children with SEND
- Interest in educational psychology, speech and language therapy, or teaching
- Training in behaviour support or safeguarding
- Specialist SEND training and ongoing professional development
- Supportive mentoring from experienced staff
- Meaningful hands‑on experience in inclusive practice
- Clear progression routes into education, psychology, or therapy pathways
