Position: Teaching Assistant (Temporary)
Local primary schools across Greenwich are currently recruiting enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistants / Classroom Assistants to join their teams.

Roles available:

* SEN Teaching Assistants

* General Classroom Teaching Assistants (EYFS, KS1 & KS2)

* 1:1 Support Roles

* Small Group Intervention Support

Location:

Primary schools across Greenwich
Pay: £90 – £110 per day (dependent on experience)

Hours:

Full-time – 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

We are working with a range of welcoming and supportive mainstream primary schools, including schools rated ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted.

The Role:

Schools are seeking Teaching Assistants to:

* Provide 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including ASD, ADHD, and Moderate Learning Difficulties

* Support pupils with additional behavioural needs

* Assist the class teacher with daily classroom activities

* Deliver small group interventions

* Support pupils across Early Years, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2

Some roles will involve working closely with pupils with ASD and associated challenging behaviour, while others will involve more general classroom support across year groups.

The Ideal Candidate :

* Previous experience working with children (school, care, youth work, coaching, or personal SEN experience)

* Graduates welcome (SEN experience preferred)

* Passionate about supporting children with additional needs

* Patient, proactive and adaptable

* Committed to helping every child reach their full potential

Requirements:

* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)

* Two years of references

* Right to work in the UK
