Teaching Assistant - SEMH & Behaviour Support (Male Students)
Pinner Long-term Term time only 5 days a week
We're looking for a Teaching Assistant to support male students with SEMH and behavioural needs in a specialist school setting in Pinner
.
The school is an all through school for children aged 4-19 with severe, profound and multiple learning disabilities, including autism, physical, sensory, and complex needs.
Staff work closely together to create a calm, predictable environment where pupils feel safe, supported and understood.
This is a long-term role
, 5 days a week
, term time only
, ideal for someone who values routine, relationship-building and making a genuine difference over time.
- Supporting male students with SEMH and challenging behaviour
- Implementing behaviour plans, routines and strategies
- Providing calm, consistent support throughout the school day
- Working closely with teaching staff and senior leaders
- Calm, organised and resilient
- Consistent and confident with boundaries
- Comfortable supporting behaviour and de‑escalation
- Able to follow structured routines and behaviour plans
- Patient, reliable and committed to a long-term placement
- Team‑Teach training or similar behaviour management training
- Child & Adult DBS on the Update Service
- Two professional references
- Experience supporting SEMH and behaviour (school or similar setting)
