We are currently recruiting for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and inclusive secondary school in Tower Hamlets. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people who require additional behavioural and emotional support.

The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
Provide 1:1 and small group behavioural support to students
Support pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs
Help de-escalate challenging situations calmly and effectively
Build positive, trusting relationships with students
Support pupils both in and out of the classroom
Work closely with teaching staff, SENCO and pastoral teams
Monitor progress and contribute to behaviour support plans
This role would suit someone with experience in education, youth work, mentoring, sports coaching or support work.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience supporting young people with challenging behaviour
Be calm, resilient and consistent in their approach
Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
Understand safeguarding and child protection procedures
Be confident implementing behaviour management strategies
Have a genuine passion for supporting vulnerable students
Team Teach training is desirable but not essential.
