Are you an experienced ESOL Lecturer looking for your next opportunity in a vibrant Further Education setting near Central London?
We are working with a fantastic, well-established FE college seeking a passionate and dedicated ESOL Lecturer to deliver high-quality English for Speakers of Other Languages provision to college learners from diverse backgrounds.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking curriculum team committed to learner progression, achievement, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging ESOL lessons across a range of levels
* Conduct initial assessments and monitor learner progress
* Prepare schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum requirements
* Support learners in developing English language, literacy and communication skills
* Maintain accurate registers and learner records
* Contribute to quality assurance and curriculum development
* Promote safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion at all times

Requirements
* Experience teaching ESOL within Further Education or Adult Learning
* Desirable Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS or equivalent) or Relevant ESOL / English qualification
* Strong understanding of ESOL assessment frameworks
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* Commitment to learner achievement and safeguarding best practice
* Enhanced DBS on update service
