English Teacher Required for Secondary School in Barking

Are you an experienced or recently qualified English Teacher with QTS who is seeking a full-time role for April 2026? This role working in an exciting school in Barking may be just right for you!

We are working with the school to recruit a teacher who can commit to the position for the entirety of the academic year (and beyond!), teaching both KS3 and KS4. This is a long-term position starting in April 2026.

A large secondary school in Barking with a richly diverse intake and a strong focus on supporting disadvantaged learners. Staff play a vital role in shaping positive futures for students who benefit from structure, consistency and high expectations.

• QTS with an English specialism

• Experience teaching English at KS3, KS4 and KS5 in a secondary school

• Proven background of high pupil progress

• A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils you work with
