Role OverviewThe role of Learning Coach is a rewarding one, as you will support and mentor learners with social, emotional, and mental health needs, a disability, learning difficulty or medical condition, and/or with ESOL, English and Maths support needs to enable them to successfully complete their qualifications, course and where appropriate, education, health and care plan (EHCP) outcomes.
Key ResponsibilitiesYou will support and mentor learners, managing their progress and setting appropriate smart targets based on EHCP outcomes, agreed support plans and coursework.
Qualifications & SkillsExperience is not essential; however, you should demonstrate initiative, organisation, prioritisation and strong communication skills at all levels. Good administration and computer skills are required to keep high‑quality written records. Candidates should be willing to achieve a GCSE/Level 2 or equivalent with grades A*-C in English and Mathematics (if not already held).
