Salary: 180 - 250 per day OR Salary negotiable depending on experience
We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Career Teacher (ECT) to join a vibrant primary school in Waltham Forest from April 2026. Job ResponsibilitiesAs an Early Career Teacher (ECT), you will:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
- Deliver high-quality phonics, literacy, and numeracy teaching
- Support pupil progress through differentiated teaching
- Manage classroom behaviour positively and effectively
- Work alongside experienced teachers and mentors to develop teaching practice
- Track and assess pupil achievement using school assessment systems
- Support SEND and EAL learners within the classroom environment
- Contribute to wider school activities and the school community
The Early Career Teacher (ECT) will be supported with planning, assessment, and professional development opportunities throughout their journey.
Qualifications/Experience- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or currently working towards QTS
- Strong communication and classroom management skills suitable for primary education
- Passion for primary education and supporting young learners
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
