Korean Language Instructor (Freelance) — English-Speaking Students (UK Market)

Company:
Coreare

Location: Remote

Engagement Type: Freelance / Independent Contractor

About Coreare

Coreare is an international education and cultural platform specialized in Korean language training and Korean culture. We design structured learning paths for Western learners, combining academic rigor with modern digital delivery. Our ecosystem integrates live teaching, e-learning tools, and community engagement to make Korean accessible, practical, and professionally taught to a global audience.

We work with students across Europe, particularly English-speaking learners seeking high-quality instruction aligned with real linguistic outcomes rather than casual conversation classes.

Role Description

We are looking for a Korean Language Instructor to teach English-speaking students, primarily based in the United Kingdom. This is a freelance, flexible role where teaching volume is driven by student demand and instructor availability.

The instructor will deliver engaging lessons, adapt materials to different proficiency levels, and guide learners through structured progression using Coreare’s methodology and digital tools.

This position combines remote teaching with potential in-person sessions or events depending on location and availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver interactive Korean language lessons to English-speaking learners (individual and small groups).
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit varying learning speeds, goals, and backgrounds.
  • Track student progress and provide structured feedback.
  • Use Coreare’s LMS and digital ecosystem to manage materials, assignments, and learning paths.
  • Maintain a professional, motivating learning environment aligned with Coreare standards.
  • Collaborate with the Coreare team to refine course delivery and student experience.
Required Qualifications
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Korean.
  • Strong command of English (teaching will be conducted in English).
  • Proven experience teaching Korean as a foreign language (online or in person).
  • Ability to structure lessons and explain grammar clearly to Western learners.
  • Excellent communication and cross-cultural skills.
  • Professional reliability and ability to work independently.
Preferred (Nice-to-Have)
  • Background in Korean language education, linguistics, or related academic field.
  • Experience preparing students for TOPIK or structured proficiency paths.
  • Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital learning environments.
  • Experience teaching adult learners or professionals.
Working Model
  • No fixed working hours — teaching load depends on student bookings.
  • Instructors manage their availability while Coreare manages student acquisition and infrastructure.
  • Suitable for professionals seeking flexible, scalable teaching engagement rather than salaried employment.
What Coreare Provides
  • Active student acquisition and marketing visibility.
  • Access to Coreare’s teaching platform and e-learning ecosystem.
  • Premium Zoom infrastructure and digital classroom tools.
  • Structured curriculum framework (with flexibility for personalization).
  • Academic coordination and operational support.
  • Opportunity to grow with a rapidly expanding Korean education brand in Europe.
Who This Role Is Ideal For
  • Flexibility and autonomy in their teaching schedule.
  • A professional platform that brings them motivated students.
  • To teach Korean seriously, not casually.
  • To contribute to building a recognized Korean language education presence in Europe.
