Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting for an SEN English Cover Supervisor to join an SEMH school in Harrow.

SEN English Cover Supervisor

SEN school for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and behavioural challenges

• Key Stage: KS3 / KS4
• Subject:
  English (including GCSE English delivery)
• Schedule:
  
  5 days per week - Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
• Start Date:
  
  ASAP
• End Date:
  Ongoing (no fixed end date)
• Location:
  
  Harrow
• Parking:
  On-site parking available
• Daily Rate: GBP
  120-GBP
  160 per day (depending on qualifications and experience)

• Deliver pre-prepared English lessons, including GCSE English content, to KS3 and KS4 pupils in an SEN/SEMH setting
• Adapt teaching approaches to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets
• Manage challenging behaviour effectively, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment
• Track pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
• Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs and senior leadership

• Degree in English (or a related subject)
• Experience delivering English at KS3/KS4, including GCSE
• Experience working in an SEN or SEMH setting (or similar environment)
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
• Two references covering the past two years of employment
