The Headmaster and CEO of Eltham College Family of Schools is seeking to appoint an Assistant Head (Lower School) to this high‑profile position which offers an exciting opportunity for a talented and ambitious member of staff to lead the Lower School (Years 7 and 8) within the Eltham College community. The role will have responsibility for the pastoral care and development as well as for the academic progress of the Lower School and is supported by two Heads of Year and a team of around 10‑12 form tutors.

Eltham College is a highly successful independent day school in south‑east London, educating boys and girls aged 7 to 18 across both Junior and Senior Schools. The College has grown considerably over recent years: there are now over students in the Senior School and around pupils in the Junior School and places are heavily oversubscribed. Since , girls have been able to join Years 3 and 7, mirroring the Sixth Form which has been co‑educational for over 45 years.
