I am currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in Greenwich that is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to join their team after Easter
, or sooner if available
.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who can deliver high-quality English lessons, foster a love of literature, and support students in achieving strong outcomes at KS3 and KS4.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach English Language and English Literature across KS3 and KS4
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Use effective assessment strategies to support student progress
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning
• Contribute to the English department’s ongoing development and collaborative culture

The school is looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
• Has recent experience teaching English in a secondary setting
• Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
• Is committed to safeguarding and supporting student development
• Is available after Easter or able to start earlier if required

• A supportive English department with experienced colleagues
• Strong leadership and a positive staff culture
• Well-resourced classrooms and access to excellent teaching materials
• A commitment to professional development and staff wellbeing
