The Role
We are looking for reliable and observant Exam Invigilators to join the team in Hornchurch. You will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the examination process, ensuring all JCQ regulations are met, and providing a supportive, quiet presence for students during both internal and external assessments.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up exam halls and classrooms in accordance with strict official guidelines.
* Supervise students to ensure a fair testing environment and prevent any malpractice.
* Manage the distribution and secure collection of all exam scripts and materials.
* Provide Support for students with access arrangements, such as reading or scribing for SEND pupils.
* Act with Composure when handling student queries or any unexpected emergencies.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have a keen eye for detail and a high level of professional integrity.
* Communicate clearly and maintain a calm, authoritative presence.
* Be highly punctual and flexible to work during the busy exam seasons.
* Be fully committed to safeguarding and student welfare.
* Previous experience is a plus, but we welcome all backgrounds as full training is provided.
