Design & Technology Teacher - Full-Time Temporary Role (Start After Easter)

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school that is seeking a full‑time temporary Design & Technology Teacher to start after the Easter break or sooner. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed DT specialist to join a supportive department and make a positive impact for the remainder of the academic year.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4.
• Deliver engaging and creative lessons that inspire students of all abilities.
• Contribute to planning, assessment, and wider departmental activities.
• Maintain a safe, productive, and inclusive learning environment.

The school is looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Has recent DT teaching experience within a UK secondary school.
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and clear communication skills.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.

• A highly supportive and welcoming team.
• Well‑resourced DT facilities.
• Strong leadership and a positive, collaborative working culture.
