Music Teacher – Full-Time (Start After Easter)

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a secondary school that is seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join their team full time after the Easter break
. The school is also open to an earlier start date for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Music specialist who can inspire creativity, deliver engaging lessons, and contribute to a thriving performing arts department.

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Music across KS3 and KS4, delivering high‑quality, engaging lessons
• Plan and assess in line with curriculum expectations
• Foster an appreciation of music and support students’ practical performance skills
• Contribute to extracurricular activities such as ensembles, choir, or school performances
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and uphold high standards of behaviour

The school is looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS or an equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification
• Has experience teaching Music in a secondary school setting
• Brings strong subject knowledge and enthusiasm for musical education
• Shows confidence with classroom management and student engagement
• Is available to start after Easter
  , or sooner if possible
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
