About the role/school

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest this April 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Nursery Teacher to work within a supportive Early Years team in a well-established, two-form entry primary school.

The school prides itself on creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment where children are encouraged to explore, question and develop a lifelong love of learning. The successful Nursery Teacher will be joining a collaborative staff team who value creativity, high expectations and strong relationships with families.

This Nursery Teacher role would suit someone who is confident in delivering the EYFS curriculum and has a strong understanding of early child development. Job Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework as a Nursery Teacher

Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment

Assess, track and monitor pupil progress effectively

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider Early Years team

Build positive relationships with parents and carers

Uphold high standards of behaviour and safeguarding

Qualifications/Experience

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching within Early Years, ideally as a Nursery Teacher

Strong knowledge of the EYFS curriculum

Excellent classroom management skills

A nurturing and patient approach

Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service

Right to work in the UK
