About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated MFL Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Southeast London. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic linguist to inspire students across KS3 and KS4 in one or more of the following languages:
French and/or Spanish. The successful candidate will help students develop strong communication skills, cultural awareness, and a genuine enjoyment of language learning.

Responsibilities

* Deliver high‑quality MFL lessons across KS3 and KS4.

* Plan and prepare engaging, differentiated lessons suitable for learners of all abilities.

* Assess, monitor, and report on student progress in line with curriculum expectations.

* Contribute to the wider school community and the ongoing development of the MFL department.

Requirements

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

* Strong subject knowledge in French and/or Spanish and the national MFL curriculum.

* Ability to explain linguistic concepts clearly while building students’ confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.

* A passion for motivating and challenging students to achieve their best.

* Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
