Pre School Manager (Term Time Only)
Hours: 8:00am - 3:15pm
Contract: Term Time Only (38 weeks annualised across 52 weeks)
Start Date: Immediate start preferred
Salary: 15 - 17 per hour (dependent on experience)
Full-time (4 days considered)
Premier Education is working in partnership with a small to medium early years setting seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to lead their team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to step away from a large corporate environment and truly make their mark within a supportive, community-focused setting. This is an ideal role for someone who wants to help build the numbers for this lovely setting.
A Deputy Manager is already in place, and the successful candidate will work closely alongside the SENCO and management committee to continue developing high-quality provision.
Role OverviewLead and manage the day-to-day running of the setting
- Work collaboratively with the Deputy Manager and SENCO
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding and EYFS delivery
- Provide strong leadership and support to staff
- Work alongside the management committee to support strategic development
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and best practice
- Level 3 qualification (minimum) in Early Years
- Proven experience running or managing an early years setting
- Excellent safeguarding knowledge and a strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Experience with in a small-medium sized setting preferred
- Paediatric First Aid (essential)
- Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) qualification - desirable
- Confident communicator with strong organisational and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively alongside a management committee
- Term-time only working (38 weeks paid across 52 weeks)
