Primary School Sports Coach

FUSION Activity Clubs provide dynamic holiday and after-school programs, focusing on creating fun, active, and creative experiences for children from Reception to Year 6. With a range of activities including arts, design technology, science, and sports, FUSION Activity Clubs inspire curiosity and engagement.

We are seeking 4 enthusiastic and reliable Primary School Sports Coaches to deliver high-quality sports and physical activity sessions for primary-aged children in an after school role in Enfield. The successful candidate will inspire pupils to enjoy sport, develop skills, and build confidence in a safe, positive, and engaging environment.

• Plan and deliver structured, fun, and inclusive sports sessions for primary school pupils
• Support pupils of varying abilities and encourage participation from all children
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management in line with school policies
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils during sessions
• Communicate effectively with school staff and colleagues
• Set up and pack away equipment as required
• Act as a positive role model at all times
• Experience working in primary school settings
• DBS Check
• First Aid Qualified
• Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to engage young children positively
• Relevant qualifications in sports coaching (e.g. sports coaching certificates, PE-related qualifications)
• A passion for working with children and promoting physical activity
• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
• Ability to commit to the stated hours (3.00pm – 6.00pm, 5 days per week)

• Experience delivering extracurricular or after-school sports clubs
• Knowledge of the primary PE curriculum
• Experience working with children of different abilities and needs

• Full training will be provided
• Ongoing support and development opportunities available

• This role involves working with children and will be subject to appropriate safeguarding checks in line with statutory requirements.
