Salary: £37,868 – £50,474 per annum (Outer London Main Pay Scale)

Salary dependent on experience and qualifications. Higher rates are available for candidates with substantial leadership experience in SEND and those who hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo) or an equivalent postgraduate qualification. Pay will be determined in line with Agency Worker Regulations (AWR), where applicable.

About the Role:

Teach-Now is working in partnership with a warm and welcoming federation of two primary schools in the Southgate area of Barnet, seeking an experienced and dedicated SENDCO to join their committed team from April 2026.

This full-time role involves working across two lovely school sites, leading and managing the provision for pupils with special educational needs. You will carry out the full range of SENDCO responsibilities, ensuring high-quality, inclusive practice and measurable impact on pupil outcomes. For the right candidate, there is potential for the role to become permanent.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be working towards it).

• Have substantial experience supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs.

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of SEND legislation, EHCP processes, and effective interventions.

• Be confident liaising with parents, external agencies, governors, and staff.

• Have the organisational skills to work effectively across two settings.
