GSL Education London Branch is excited to be working with a welcoming secondary comprehensive school and sixth form for girls. We are currently looking for a passionate and skilled Food Technology Teacher to join their team from April 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated Food Technology Teacher who enjoys inspiring young people and delivering high-quality lessons. The school is seeking an experienced Food Technology Teacher who can confidently teach GCSE and Hospitality and Catering.

As a Food Technology Teacher, you will work in a supportive environment where your skills and ideas are valued. This role is ideal for a Food Technology Teacher who is ready to take on new challenges and grow professionally.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
Teach a GCSE Year 11 class confidently and effectively
Deliver Hospitality and Catering courses to a high standard
Prepare students for exams and coursework assessments
Create a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor student progress and provide clear feedback
Work closely with other staff and attend meetings when required
Maintain high standards of behaviour and learning
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience as a Food Technology Teacher in secondary schools
Strong experience teaching GCSE Food Technology
Experience teaching Hospitality and Catering
Good classroom management skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A positive and professional attitude
Commitment to safeguarding and student welfare
