Exam Invigilator

We are seeking reliable and observant Exam Invigilators to join our team in Upminster. This role is essential in upholding the integrity of external and internal examinations. You will play a key role in creating a calm, focused atmosphere for students, ensuring that JCQ regulations are strictly followed while providing a supportive presence in the exam hall.

• Set up examination rooms according to official guidelines and seat plans.
• Supervise students throughout the duration of exams to ensure a fair environment and prevent malpractice.
• Assist with the distribution and secure collection of highly sensitive exam materials.
• Support students with access arrangements, potentially acting as a reader or scribe for SEND pupils.
• Maintain a quiet and orderly environment, handling any queries with professional composure.

• Possess excellent attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and a calm, authoritative manner.
• Be punctual and reliable, with the flexibility to work during peak exam seasons.
• Show a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Previous experience in a school setting is an advantage, but not essential as full training will be provided.
