Tate Britain and the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) are seeking an experienced Programme Consultant to support the development of an ambitious new learning programme for schools and young people, centred around a new Clore garden and the Clore Garden Classroom at Tate Britain.

This pioneering, multi‑year initiative brings together art, horticulture and environmental learning to engage children and young people with climate change, wellbeing and creative expression. Opening in early 2027, the programme will work with schools and youth organisations across London and the UK, with a strong focus on local schools.

The consultant will work closely with RHS and Tate learning teams to:

  • Lead audience research and relationship‑building with schools and youth organisations
  • Facilitate co‑design sessions to shape the programme offer
  • Develop a clear Programme Framework, evaluation approach and delivery model
  • Support testing and piloting of programme ideas
  • Contribute to communications materials for programme launch

We are looking for someone with:

  • Proven experience developing creative learning programmes in education, arts or culture
  • Strong facilitation and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working across sectors and organisational cultures
  • Knowledge of London’s schools and youth contexts
  • A commitment to inclusive, joyful and impactful learning

Become a member of a supportive and resourceful network of museum and heritage educators.
