1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Hackney - £95-£115 a day (depending on experience) - Full Time - Immediate Start

• 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND required
• 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Experience working with autism or complex needs desirable
• 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Must be confident supporting communication, behaviour and emotional regulation
• 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Required full time ASAP

Seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to support a pupil aged 4-16 with special educational needs and/or disabilities. You will provide consistent individual support throughout the school day, adapting learning materials, reinforcing teacher instructions and implementing personalised strategies linked to EHCP outcomes. The role involves supporting communication development, emotional regulation, behaviour management and promoting independence within a structured and nurturing classroom environment.

This specialist provision is located in the London Borough of Hackney and is within walking distance of a nearby London Overground station. The school supports pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism and complex learning difficulties, and provides a highly structured and inclusive learning environment. The school was judged 'Good' at its most recent Ofsted inspection in 2025.
