A full-time opportunity has become available for a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Newham. This long-term position is available for an immediate start and offers a competitive daily rate of £90 to £115, depending on experience.

The Role – EYFS Teaching Assistant

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support children in Nursery or Reception. You will help deliver engaging, play-based activities that promote communication, language, literacy, and numeracy development, while also supporting pupils’ personal, social, and emotional growth.

Your responsibilities will include supporting small group activities, assisting with phonics and early reading, observing and tracking pupil progress, and helping to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment. You will also support children with additional needs, so patience, creativity, and strong communication skills are essential.

The ideal candidate will be caring, proactive, and passionate about early years education, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
