Level 3 Early Years Educator

Position:
Early Years Educator (Part‑time) – 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Shift rota: 7:30 am–3:15 pm, 8:00 am–4:00 pm or 10:30 am–6:15 pm.

Start date:

As soon as possible. Grade 3/4 (Points 5‑10). Salary: £29,436–£31,611.

Eligibility and statutory information:
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the amendments to the Exceptions Order 1974, 2013 and 2020. All employees of the Federation are deemed to be in regulated activity with children and as such all offers of employment are subject to an Enhanced DBS check and other checks as appropriate. Please be aware this role can only be worked in the UK from the location provided and not from overseas.

Qualifications & experience:

• Good literacy and numeracy skills – equivalent to at least Basic Skills Level 2 / GCSE Grade A–C / 4–9 in English & Maths.
• Successful recent experience of working with children in the birth‑to‑5‑year age range in an education, day‑care setting or other registered service.
• Effective communication with children, their families and colleagues.
• Ability to contribute to the nurturing environment of our provision.
• Highly motivated; qualified to NVQ 3 level; recent experience of working with children aged 0–4 years.
