Room Leader

We are seeking a dedicated Nursery Room Lead to join our team at a vibrant nursery in the heart of the community. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, excellent leadership skills, and a nurturing approach to childcare. Duties and responsibilities - Lead and manage a team of nursery staff to ensure the highest standards of care and education are maintained - Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote learning and development for children - Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children to provide regular updates on children's progress - Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to thrive - Drive continuous improvement in nursery operations and educational programmes Experience and qualifications Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team Experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting Qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent (e.g., NVQ Level 3 or above) Excellent communication skills with fluency in English Strong organisational skills to effectively manage daily nursery activities Paediatric first aid certificate (preferable) Safeguarding training and understanding Benefits Company events Company pension Employee discount Employee mentoring programme On-site parking learning platform Staff discount for own children Pathways to progress in the company Company culture We are a small family run nursery in the heart of the new forest.
