About the Role

A forward-thinking primary school in Greenwich is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Primary Teacher to take on a Year 5 class from September 2026. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their best, while maintaining strong routines and a positive classroom culture. Key Responsibilities

Teach a Year 5 class, delivering high-quality lessons across the curriculum.

Plan, assess, and track pupil progress in line with national expectations.

Create an inclusive and engaging classroom environment.

Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.

Contribute to year group and whole-school initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential.

Recent experience teaching in Key Stage 2.

Strong behaviour management and communication skills.

A passion for inspiring and supporting young learners.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
