They are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Computer Science Teacher to join their dedicated faculty in a full-time, permanent position commencing this September.
Position OverviewThe successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's dynamic Computer Science department, inspiring the next generation of tech‑savvy individuals. The role entails fostering a love for technology and computational thinking in students, equipping them with essential skills for the digital age.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver engaging and rigorous Computer Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school's educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4.
- Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student curiosity, problem‑solving, and collaboration.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual growth.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Computer Science department and across the school to enhance the learning experience.
- Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in the field of Computer Science.
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Computer Science at the secondary level.
- A passion for Computer Science and its real-world applications, with the ability to inspire students.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Adaptability and a willingness to embrace new teaching methodologies.
