Scholarship for Black Heritage Students
We invite students of Black Heritage from the UK and Ireland to join a two‑day workshop in London, where you will develop valuable career skills and network with Bain professionals. The workshop provides an early interview opportunity for an Associate Consultant position and a chance to win a £10,000 scholarship.
The workshop covers:
- Practice key skill areas
- Learn and apply the tools Bain consultants use to address client problems
- Apply your skills to real challenges faced by our consultants
Benefits and opportunities:
- Build a community of like‑minded individuals and build relationships with future leaders across the UK and Ireland
- Be entered to win a £10,000 scholarship
- Receive an invitation to interview for a full‑time Associate Consultant role
Eligibility:
- Students of Black heritage in their penultimate year of undergraduate study at a UK or Irish university, of any nationality or degree
- Strong academic achievement, excellent communication skills, drive, passion, and the energy to solve problems
- Candidates must currently be in their penultimate year of study to be eligible for the scholarship
Optional path for final‑year students:
If you are in your final year of study or have less than two years of full‑time work experience since graduating, you may apply for the full‑time Associate Consultant role in the London office when applications open in September.
Assessment:
The assessment evaluates core skills required for the Associate Consultant role, including numerical aptitude, logical reasoning, and behavioral preferences. The assessment covers the following areas:
- Numerical reasoning
- Logical reasoning
- Personality questionnaire
The scholarship is currently only offered in the London office. If you are not interested in the London office, please contact your top office preference for information about recruiting opportunities.
