An Outstanding Secondary School in the top 1% for attainment 8 and progress 8 are searching a bright Head of Physics to join their team in September. You will be joining an established, high-performing Science department which is popular all the way through to KS5.

As Head of Physics, you will also act as a second in charge of the Science department, working in tandem with two other 2iC's (Head of Biology and Head of Chemistry). This high-performing school is undeniably academically focused, but it works. Most recently in 2025, their Physics results were:

• A Level: 36% A*-A % 50% A*-B
• GCSEs: 100% 9-7

• Qualified Physics Teacher with at least both ECT years complete
• Experience teaching A Level Physics highly desirable
• UK QTS absolutely essential
• Strong academic background
• Prior leadership experience beneficial, but not essential
