Overview

A secondary school in Hackney is looking for a Maths Academic Mentor to support students who need additional help building confidence and progress in Maths. Hackney schools are placing a strong focus on raising core subject attainment, making this a fantastic opportunity for aspiring teachers.

Responsibilities

Supporting students in Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
Delivering targeted intervention sessions
Supporting GCSE preparation and exam confidence
Helping students stay engaged and focused in lessons

Qualifications

Maths graduate or strong academic Maths background
Confident communicator and positive role model
Strong numeracy and problem-solving skills
Interest in teaching or education careers
