We are working with a primary school in Harlesden, Brent looking for a Learning Support Assistant for a long-term support role. This role starts in September 2026, with strong potential for continuation throughout the academic year. The school needs a reliable and patient individual to work closely with the class teacher and keep pupils settled, focused, and engaged.
Role Responsibilities- Support pupils with SEN, ASD, speech and language needs, or EHCP-linked support
- Work in class, small groups or 1:1 depending on pupil needs
- Create calm routines and consistent classroom support
- Support learning without providing generic cover
- Previous experience in school, SEN, care, childcare or youth work
- Calm, steady and reliable
- Good communication with teachers and pupils
- Patience with pupils who need extra time and consistency
Pay: £90 - £105 per day
Location: Harlesden, Brent (NW10 4LX
)
