Salary: £95-£115 per day

Join Us as a SEN Teacher Special Needs Autism in an SEN School. A rewarding opportunity is available for a Learning Mentor with experience supporting Secondary students with Autism. The role involves working closely with verbal and non-verbal pupils in an inclusive classroom, supporting sensory needs and communication development. Familiarity with PECS and Makaton would be an advantage.

• The SEN Teacher Special Needs Autism recruited for this role will be expected to collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and ensure students continuously challenge themselves to improve.
• The SEN Teacher Special Needs Autism appointed to this position will need to establish and maintain the standards of pupil behavior required to create an orderly and productive environment.
• Strong understanding of mental health challenges in children and adolescents.
• Experience in implementing strategies to support emotional well-being.

• You must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, as well as a PGCE or equivalent Teaching qualification, to be eligible for this role.
• Additionally, you will need to have, or be eligible for, British QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent to be considered for this job.
• To be eligible for this position you will also need proven classroom experience or training.
