Hours
27.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year
- 22.5 hours as Teaching Assistant
- 5 hours as Midday Meals Supervisor
Working Hours: 09:00 – 15:30, Monday to Friday (with a 1-hour lunch break)
Key Responsibilities- Support children both in the classroom and on an individual basis, particularly those with additional needs.
- Supervise children during playtimes and lunch breaks.
- Provide assistance with physical activities, including swimming and PE.
- Help manage challenging behaviour in a calm and positive manner.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and fellow team members to deliver a high standard of education.
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment to ensure all children can reach their potential.
- Experience working with children, particularly those with special educational needs, is an advantage.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work flexibly.
- A strong commitment to teamwork and achieving the best outcomes for students.
- High expectations for learning and a passion for promoting inclusion and helping children overcome barriers to education.
- Ability to be flexible in meeting the needs of the children and the school.

- This role involves regular contact with children. An Enhanced Disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) will be required.
