1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant - SEN School - Hackney - ASAP Start - Full Time - Long Term - 90-110 Per Day (dependent on experience)

  • 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant required in Hackney
  • 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant required to start ASAP
  • 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant required to support a Year 4 pupil with ASD
  • Previous SEN experience is essential

The Role - 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

As a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant, you will provide focused support to a Year 4 pupil with ASD, helping them access learning and participate confidently in classroom activities. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you will implement personalised strategies to support both academic progress and emotional wellbeing. The ideal candidate will be nurturing, proactive, and committed to creating a positive learning environment.

Previous experience working with pupils with ASD is essential.

Located in Hackney, this inclusive and supportive primary school is a 5 minute walk from the nearest train station. The school caters for children aged 3-11 and prides itself on fostering a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment where every pupil is encouraged to achieve their best. Staff work collaboratively to ensure all learners receive the support they need to succeed.
