We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Tutor (Pre-Supported Internship) to join a specialist post-16 education provision supporting young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). , you will deliver engaging and personalised learning programmes using a RARPA framework, supporting learners working from Entry Level 3 through to Level 2.
The SEN Tutor (Pre-Supported Internship) will play a key role in preparing learners for adulthood by developing employability skills, confidence, independence and workplace readiness. Working within a specialist setting near Heathrow
, you will help learners build practical skills including interview preparation, work experience participation, travel training and communication skills.

Teaching and Learning
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality learning programmes using the RARPA framework.
- Deliver personalised learning that meets individual learner needs.
- Teach learners within mixed-ability groups working towards supported internship readiness.
- Promote learners intellectual, personal and social development.
- Embed English, Maths and British Values throughout the curriculum.
- Design and deliver engaging PSHE sessions.
- Support learners to become work-ready and independent.
- As a SEN Tutor (Pre-Supported Internship), you will:
- Assess learner progress and achievement using RARPA methodologies.
- Produce learner reports and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct progress reviews and contribute to annual review meetings.
- Set, monitor and review learner targets.
- Work with quality assurance processes to evidence learner achievement.
- Support learners in achieving meaningful progression outcomes.
- The SEN Tutor (Pre-Supported Internship) will:
- Deliver employ-ability-focused learning programmes.
