Derby College Group (DCG) is seeking dedicated and inspiring Teachers of English to join our Study Programme English team. In this role, you will deliver GCSE and Functional Skills English to our students, helping them to develop confidence, make progress, and achieve their full potential.
The College operates across several campuses, including The Roundhouse, The Joseph Wright Centre, and Broomfield Hall, and this role may be based at any of these sites.

About youYou will be an enthusiastic and committed teacher with a passion for English education. You should have experience teaching GCSE English (9–1) and ideally Functional Skills English. Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential, along with confidence in using IT to support teaching and learning. You will hold at least a Level 3 qualification in English, with a relevant degree being desirable.
A recognised Level 5 or Level 6 teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or Cert Ed, is required. Above all, you will bring flexibility, innovation and a positive approach to supporting students to achieve their goals.
