Time Plan Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Havering seeking an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join their team from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SEND professional to lead and develop SEND provision within a supportive school environment, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

The Role:

Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
Coordinate support for pupils with a range of additional needs
Work closely with teachers, support staff, parents and external agencies
Monitor pupil progress and ensure appropriate interventions are in place
Maintain EHCPs and ensure compliance with SEND legislation and the SEND Code of Practice
Provide guidance, support and training to staff
Promote an inclusive culture throughout the school

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or relevant SENCO experience
Strong knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice
Experience supporting pupils with a variety of SEND needs
Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills
A child-centred approach and commitment to inclusion
