About the role
Under the direction of the respective Programme Administrators, the post holder will provide comprehensive support to teaching and learning activities covering the full student lifecycle, including applicant and current student queries, module enrolment, attendance and engagement monitoring, assessment and examination administration, ensuring effective procedures are documented and implemented.
This post will assist in achieving a high-quality and timely service to current and prospective students and staff relating to the designated modules/programmes and beyond, including supporting committees and quality assurance processes.
Salary: UCL Grade 6 £ 36,433 to £41,833 per annum (including London Allowance)
About youThe ideal candidate will be educated to at least GCSE level, with a minimum of five passes at Grade C or above (including Mathematics and English Language), or possess equivalent qualifications or relevant professional experience. They will have proven administrative experience within a higher or further education setting, or a similar teaching and learning environment, alongside familiarity with online learning platforms.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, with the ability to engage effectively and professionally with a wide range of individuals in an academic context.
The role requires excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels. The successful candidate will demonstrate a professional approach, exercising tact and discretion when dealing with colleagues, students, and stakeholders. They will be highly organised, with the ability to prioritise their workload, manage competing demands, and perform efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environment.
Strong IT skills are also essential, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, shared online documents, video conferencing systems, email, and general internet use.
