General Teaching Assistant - Lewisham - September 2026
£100 - £117 daily | Local Schools | Weekly PAYE | Regular Full-Time Work

Remedy is actively partnering with a range of primary schools across Lewisham and South East London who are urgently seeking reliable, enthusiastic, and committed General Teaching Assistants to start from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into varied classroom environments, gain valuable experience, and secure regular work with competitive pay.
This role is suitable for experienced General Teaching Assistants, education graduates, childcare professionals, or individuals with relevant experience who are looking to gain classroom-based experience.
What you'll be doing:
Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
Delivering targeted support to individuals and small groups
Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and activities
Promoting a positive and productive learning environment
Providing support for pupils with additional learning needs

To be considered, for the general Teaching assistant role you will need:
Previous experience working with children
A professional, flexible, and adaptable approach
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
