Prospero Teaching is working with a secondary school in E7 that is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2026. We are looking for an individual with previous experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

8:30am - 3:30pm (may vary depending on the school's needs)
Pay: GBP
100 - GBP
125 per day (dependent on experience)

Experience, Training and Qualifications Required
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN is essential
Experience working within a school or educational setting is highly desirable
Graduates are encouraged to apply
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
Patient, empathetic and committed to supporting individual learning needs
Reliable, punctual and committed
Additional Application Requirement
As part of the application process, shortlisted candidates will be required to record a short video answering a number of questions about their experience, suitability for the role, and why they would like to work within a SEN setting.
To Be Eligible for This Role Through Prospero Teaching, You Must:
Have the Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child-barred list DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one
Provide two professional child-related references covering the last two years
