SEMH Practitioner – Lewisham – September 2026

Are you passionate about supporting young people with social, emotional and mental health needs? This SEMH Practitioner opportunity in Lewisham offers the chance to join a specialist setting dedicated to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning, develop resilience and achieve positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom.

This SEMH Practitioner role would suit a graduate interested in Educational Psychology, Child Psychology, Youth Work, Social Work or Teaching. The successful SEMH Practitioner will work closely with pupils who require additional emotional and behavioural support, helping them regulate emotions, engage positively with learning and build confidence throughout the school day.

The school specialises in supporting pupils with complex SEMH needs and has developed a strong reputation for providing structured support, therapeutic approaches and personalised intervention programmes. Staff benefit from working within a highly collaborative environment alongside experienced pastoral leaders, therapists and SEN professionals.

Salary
: £500–£550 per week (Contract)
